VinAI’s deputy CEO, Annie Lien participated as a Panelist at one of the world’s most prestigious Automotive events – The Autonomous Main Event. The event brings together people and companies working on crucial safety topics for the future of autonomous mobility.
The event held on September 27th in Vienna (Austria), is attended by over 500 executives and experts from the autonomous vehicle space to discuss and act on the largest safety challenges for autonomous mobility.
Annie participated in a panel entitled ‘The race towards trustworthy autonomy – is the trucking industry overtaking passenger cars?’ The panel discussed how autonomous trucks have gained notable traction in the last years. In the race to put fully autonomous vehicles on the road, commercial trucks that drive themselves maybe even pull ahead of self-driving cars. The Autonomous trucking industry is gaining momentum as the need to move goods around the world increases and the number of truck drivers decreases.
According to Annie “It was an honor to act as a Panelist for this fantastic event. In addition to discussing the ever-changing and growing world of Autonomous trucks with other esteemed industry speakers, it was fantastic to discuss just how important collaboration is, to achieve safe autonomous mobility”.
The Autonomous Main Event is a carefully curated speaker lineup that includes C-level executives, top safety experts, and senior decision-makers from the global autonomous mobility industry.
